The second wave of circuits for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe arrives on August 4

After a first wave of races last March in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Additional Tracks Pass, the long-awaited second wave is announced for August 4, 2022. A nice nod to the franchise’s 30th anniversary, including the first game was released in Japan in August 1992.

As for the first wave, 8 races therefore enrich the DLC of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Nostalgics will be able to find the Kalimari Desert, the Mushroom Gorge or the Pinball Waluigi. But this time, Nintendo is not only offering old circuit porting since a brand new race will appear, the Cité Sorbet.

If this wave 2 is extremely awaited by the players, it is to be hoped that the work done on the old races will be a little more present and that Nintendo will not be satisfied with a port without great effort. The graphics of the first wave did not convince most players.

As for the next waves of DLC circuits, no date has been announced of course, but Nintendo is taking advantage of its presentation video to remind you that they will all be available by the end of 2023.
