Stephane Plaza is known for his legendary clumsiness, but there are incidents that may be more serious than others. On July 22, 2021, the host had revealed on social networks to have been the victim of two consecutive car accidents. “Bim, bam, boom, 2nd day, 2nd car, yes, yes, it’s true, same side, same sanction”, he had written in story to his subscribers, in the caption of a photo of a seriously damaged vehicle on the right side. But it was not the first bad luck that had happened to him. In 2015, the real estate agent was hit by a car that turned around without looking. And in 1998, Stéphane Plaza was due undergo nine leg operations, and lay there for five months after falling two meters down a flight of stairs.
And this Saturday, January 22, on the set of secret song, Stephane Plaza’s 90-year-old dad returned to this terrible misadventure, which could have ended very badly. “When he had his accident, he could no longer walk. The doctor really did something wonderful.”, he remembered, particularly moved. “Finally, I was able to walk again, but it was not said that I could do it. I was told that I could no longer walk, that I could no longer run”, had explained for his part Stéphane Plaza on Europe 1, on June 7, 2021, specifying that the surgeon who had operated on him, had “turned the leg”.

And in honor of the favorite host of the French, several of his close friends found themselves on stage to interpret the song She has piercing eyes. In a setting reminiscent of a flower shop – a tribute to his mother, Christiane, a former florist, who died of cancer in 2016 – Jeanfi Janssens, Marc Lavoine, Stéphane Plaza’s father, and his doctor sang the famous hit together. And from the start of the song, the real estate agent could not hide his emotion. “I look stupid”, he said at the end of the performance, tears in the eyes.
