The Monsieur Cuisine Smart is rather aptly named. With him, Lidl corrects his “star” robot-cooker with small touches. The interface is better thought out, better illustrated, more responsive; the central handle of the bowl offers a better grip and the integrated scale reacts a little faster than that of the Monsieur Cuisine Connect. Good at mixing and respectful of cooking, the Monsieur Cuisine Smart stands out as the best reference for less than 400 €, even if everything is not perfect. You always have to deal with a little play in the assembly, a slow rise in temperature or even a few translation errors in the recipes.

The Moulinex ClickChef is a very good robot-cooker for those who are ready to skip guided cooking. It cooks quickly and precisely while ensuring good temperature homogeneity. To top it off, it mixes efficiently and silently. It outperforms Lidl’s Monsieur Cuisine Plus – which it looks a lot like – and is actually very good value for money.
