The Simpsons in real life? This is what it would look like according to an AI

Here’s what the Simpsons characters would look like if they were played by flesh-and-blood comedians.

For 33 years now, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson have been the most famous animated family on the small screen. With 750 episodes to their credit, they have made entire generations of viewers laugh, and their easily identifiable faces are known throughout the world.

But what would the Simpsons (and the townspeople of Springfield) look like if they left the cartoon world behind to become live-action characters?

This big question, which fans have often asked themselves over the past three decades, and which the series has even answered with a live-action intro credits (in episode 15 of season 17), was recently subjected to artificial intelligence.

In effect, on his Reddit accounta user named Crows_HeadIC used MidJourney software to determine what the Simpsons would look like if played by real people.

And as you can see in the post above, it wasn’t just Homer, Marge and their kids. History to push the experiment until the end, Crows_HeadIC also wanted to know what would look like characters like Mr. Burns, the salesman of BD, Moe, Apu or Willie the gardener in flesh and blood.

As we can see, each of the characters we know well seems to have kept their particular signs: Homer still has his donut, Marge his blue hair (which fell for the occasion), Bart his bicycle, Lisa her saxophone and Maggie her pacifier. It should also be noted that Ned Flanders, the famous neighbor of the Simpsons, now has a little air of Ted Lasso.

What do you think of this diversion? How did you imagine the Simpsons characters in real life?
