After their latest named Country Life, we change scenery and find the high school life that will bring back so many good (or bad) memories, available for a few weeks on PC and consoles.
It’s back to school
Of course, who says new extension says new world to explore. Here you will have access to Copperdale, a new map that is divided into three parts. There is necessarily the area with the school as well as an auditorium next to it. This is where the famous prom will take place. This area is called Rockridge Heights.
You will also have Prescott Square, this is where high school students come to hang out after class (or even during?) and you will find a shop and a library. Then last place to explore, Plumbquartz Covedynamic area especially in the evening because you will find a carnival on the edge of the water.
You also have many new outfits and hairstyles available to perfect your high school look, and a little novelty you can even put on some nail polish! All this directly accessible in the usual option “Modify the Sim”. Obviously, as usual, the studio takes the opportunity to establish new aspirations. You’ll have a total of four new Teen Aspirations available: Live to the Fullest, Admired Icon, Teen Who Does It, and Determined.
High school, the best time of life?
From 8 a.m., every day of the week, you will be able to accompany your teenage Sim during their day at school. Usually, high school students leave for class at 8 a.m. and return home by 3 p.m.; one could therefore think that they work about 06 hours leaving them 1 hour of lunch break. Well no, when you accompany them to high school, it doesn’t happen like that.
Indeed, you arrive on the school grounds at 8 a.m. but be aware that the lessons do not actually start until 10 a.m. So you have two hours ahead of you to either have breakfast in the cafeteria or do your homework if you haven’t done it yet. You can also take the opportunity to revise for the exam or socialize with teachers or other students. By clicking on your Teen Sim, you can view the class schedule or study for the exam. If you click through a computer, you will also be able to view your Sim’s grades.
After the first hour of class, at 10 a.m., it’s 11 a.m. and it’s time for your lunch break. You will resume classes at 2 p.m. for one hour of lessons. Then at 3 p.m. the school day ends. We would have dreamed of a rhythm like this in our time, right?
As with every event, you will have missions to complete during your day until 3 p.m. For example, you will have to socialize with a teacher or another student, eat in the cafeteria, study for the exam, etc. If you complete all the missions and are attentive in class, the teachers will not hesitate to let you know at the end of the day. Continue like that !

After class, there’s nothing like meeting up with friends at the shop. Trendy tea at Prescott Square. This is where trends are created. Indeed, in addition to being able to order a bubble tea, you can create looks, sell them via the Stilé application on your phone and obtain subscribers. All you have to do is click on a rack in the store, choose at least one top, bottom and shoes, find a theme and name for your outfit and set the price. The more subscribers you have, the more likely you are to sell your outfits at high prices and become influentialSim.
Another new app available on your phone is Sociable Rabbit. It’s a social network where you can add friends, chat, or share a status based on recent events your Sim has experienced. In addition, in the Company application always in your phone, it is possible for you to start an extracurricular activity. You will be able to access a computer club, chess, American football or pompom Sims.
In short, this High School Years extension seems quite complete and ideal if you are nostalgic for your high school years. However, it is quite difficult to manage your teen Sim in addition to all the rest of the family, especially if you have to change land at 8 a.m. sharp and be available again from 3 p.m. It is of course possible not to accompany your teenager to class, but for an extension at €39.99, it is still better to make the most of it.
