The Sims 4: The new update makes the game even more inclusive


On May 24, the life simulation game The Sims 4 actually welcomed a new update, which should please many players and many players since it allows us to customize the pronouns of our Sims. This update aims to fight against the various discriminations that we can unfortunately encounter every day in our society, and above all to make the game benevolent and as gender neutral as possible.

Customizable pronouns are available in The Sims 4

It’s throughan official press release EA developers announced the new Sims update. On the program therefore, personalization of pronouns which is now available when players decide to create a Sims, in addition to the pronouns we all know “he” and “she”.

For this, and above all to take advantage of it, go to the creation tab of your character, to then be able to choose the pronoun of this one. You just have to click on “Hello my name is…” then select the one you want which will be in the drop-down menu. You will find the usual pronouns there but also the “personalized pronouns“.

At present, the developers have indicated that this new option was only available in English, and that sometimes some problems could appear. Indeed, even though this update has been fully tested, there may be cases where incorrect pronoun conjugation or the default pronoun of assigned gender may still appear due to intricacies of English grammar. Also, if only English is available for the moment, the developers have not advanced a date for us, but have nevertheless declared that the 18 languages ​​will be deployed “over time”. They will certainly communicate on the progress of the events.

Soon werewolves in the Sims 4?

In addition to this pleasant update, we are not going to lie to each other, the eyes of the players are now riveted on the next real update, or rather DLC of The Sims 4. After the vampires, it seems that our inhabitants are preparing to welcome werewolves!

Indeed, several clues lead to these creatures through the trailer of the pack “Stay Up“, including the appearance in the television of our Sims of a television program demonstrating a dark alley and a silhouette similar to that of a werewolf. Anyway, we will most certainly know more in the days to come, with, we hope, the realization of this special werewolf DLC.
