The singer Calogero will be the star of the next M6 fiction


M6 has just announced the start of filming for “Tessa”, a 90-minute TV movie in which the singer Calogero will play one of the main roles. This will be a first for the artist who has never acted before.

Singer Calogero is about to take her first steps in comedy. The author, composer and performer, to whom we owe titles like in weightlessness, In front of the sea or If only I could miss himwill indeed be on the poster for Tessa, the next M6 fiction film which began filming this Monday, February 13 in Marseille and its surroundings.

Directed by Jérôme Cornuau (Peur sur le Lac, Fugueuse), this 90-minute TV movie is freely adapted from the novel Touch the walls, written by singer Tessae. Victim of school harassment, the young girl from Marseille had found her salvation in music.

Singing has always been Tessa’s reason for living, a 16-year-old teenager. So when she returns to high school, she puts the odds on her side by choosing the music option.

But very quickly, Tessa becomes the target of mockery from some of her classmates, jealous of her talent. Dropped by her best friend, the teenager suffers daily harassment that pushes her to the limit. To continue to move forward and regain a taste for life, he will need all the support of those close to him, and in particular of Raphaël, his music teacher.

For the occasion, Calogero will therefore lend his features to Raphaël, a teacher who will help Tessa realize her greatest dream: that of going on stage. The young girl will be embodied by Charlie Loiselier, finalist of the first season of The Voice Kids in 2014, who was recently on the poster of the musical comedy of France TV Slash ReuSSS. Charlie Bruneau, alias Roxane in En Famille, has also been announced in the casting.

In addition to Tessa, M6 has already announced two other unpublished fiction films for 2023. The first is an adaptation of Les Espions de la terreur, an investigation by journalist Matthieu Suc which takes us to the heart of the French secret services in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks. from November 13, 2015. This series in 4 episodes is carried by Vincent Elbaz, Fleur Geffrier (Vise le coeur) and Rachida Brakni (Baron Noir).

The channel is also in the middle of filming Les Anonymes, a 2×52-minute fiction in which Eric Cantona slips into the skin of Castaneda, a former outlaw who will return to service following the disappearance of his daughter.
