We did not expect it and yet … Julien Doré has just released a new hit on a completely new track. Again, poetry and melody are there.
It was in 2018 that Julien Doré released his album You & me, a disc full of delicacy which once again revealed a touching sensitivity in the artist. The album had met with great success and the singer had linked concerts and festivals to finally end this great adventure with more intimate concerts. He was revealed alone on stage, without his precious musicians, and it was a new way to relive his songs. We also shared this suspension over time during his concert at the Olympia in Paris.
Since then, Julien Doré has been more discreet on the music scene. But it was to better prepare for his return. And what a return! Many of us eagerly awaited new songs. Julien Doré already announced it on his social networks since yesterday, a new clip was about to be released. It is now done and, if we had not realized it before, the musicality of Julien Doré had in fact been terribly missed. In any case, it's the feeling we get when listening to this new song called "Fever." Sounds that smell good in summer with a clip aesthetic specific to the French artist. "Fever" is illustrated by a video, again, made with Brice VDH. We now recognize the leg of this duo that Julien Doré has formed with the director for several years.
Humor, satire and strangeness seem to be at the heart of this clip. With a lot of delicacy and in order to let the imagination and the interpretation of his fans express themselves, Julien Doré did not give more details on this new video. What is not in doubt is that we contemplate the clip and the song of the summer: "The world has changed, some vertebrae have moved …" Words that remain in the head, in line with "Paris-Seychelles", "Lake" or "Coco Câline".
