Yet discreet about his private life, the singer who will soon join the jury of The Voice Kids announced last January to be a dad for the first time, and this, of a little girl named Esmeralda. A turmoil in his life that he has “pushed to think”especially in the way he lives his job. “For nearly seven years, I’ve been doing album, tour, album, tour… There, I’m very happy to release a new album, but I’m not going to embark on a tour too quickly. I want to take care of my daughter, recharge my batteries and take the time to appreciate what is happening to me”has recently entrusted the acolyte of Vitaa, whose baby was born prematurely. “When you see your 1.6 kg baby struggling for two months to gain weight and try to breathe, it calms you down”he admitted bluntly.

A little girl who now seems in perfect health, as Slimane shared on his Instagram account, revealing an accomplice shot with Esmeralda. “Stolen Moment of Love”he wrote in the caption this photo, to be found here, which was captured by a photographer friend. On this one, we see the singer tenderly holding his baby well wrapped up in his arms, which did not fail to soften several of his subscribers, in particular celebrities. How Esmeralda “changed” Slimane

If Slimane remains discreet about his family situation, he is a little less stingy with confidences when it comes to expressing himself on his new status as a dad, and on the birth of his little Esmeralda who has completely changed his life. For him, becoming a father was “An evidence”as he recently confided in an interview, explaining that he did not see “not [sa] life other than being a father”. “Besides, now that I am, I don’t even remember how I was before”he thus specified, and to add that his daughter has for him “everything changes”. “The man I am, the artist I am, what I want to leave… She changed my vision of love”he had specified, and to conclude by specifying what kind of father he is: “I share a lot with her. But I’m not super protective at all, I just let her live her life.”
