On the Leboncoin classifieds site, there has been a total blackout since early this morning. The site responds to absent subscribers, no more ads can be consulted, whether old or new.

Without giving any explanation on the origin of the problem, Leboncoin has just announced the resolution of the problem which had been affecting the site since this morning. “The incident has been resolved. Thank you for your patience,” we can read on the official X account. This time, the site was much more responsive than last April, when a bug affected the site for 24 hours. All’s well That ends well ?

At the start of the morning of May 25, 2024, a size problem appeared on the Leboncoin site. And it’s not yet resolved. The Leboncoin classifieds site, visited each month by more than 26 million people, no longer works. Whether via the site or via the application, neither displays the slightest ad.
Already last April, the site had already experienced a significant bug: no new announcements were taken into consideration. Only the oldest ones, or those which had been brought up automatically, were displayed. The problem lasted for a Sunday and was resolved on Monday. Today, Leboncoin is suffering from an even bigger bug.
Leboncoin is the victim of a general outage, no more ads are displayed
So, as soon as we try to carry out a search, the following message is displayed: “Sorry, we don’t have this at hand”. And when you want to view your saved ads, another message appears: “An error has occurred. Please retry later”. Clear, no more ads are displayed on the site.
Whether on Twitter or on Downdetector, the first reports from users date back to 7:15 this morning. Poor consolation: only the site’s messaging continues to work. If you have started a dialogue with a buyer or seller, you will still be able to view your chat history. The ad submission tool also seems to work, but we do not recommend using it for the moment. Better to wait until the general outage is resolved than to have to redo an announcement from A to Z.
At present, Leboncoin has not yet reacted. We will keep you informed throughout the day as soon as we have more details on the origin of the outage.
