France Télévisions will still exclusively broadcast the women’s and men’s competitions of the six nations tournament until 2025. The agreement has just been extended. France Télé has also acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast three matches of the XV of France this fall: those against Australia, South Africa and Japan.

France Télévisions will continue to broadcast the six nations tournament until 2025, the public audiovisual group announced on Tuesday. “Six nations Rugby (note: Tournament organizer) and France Télévisions confirm their agreement and extend their partnership until 2025”, indicates France Télévisions in a press release. “In the continuity of its current partnership, France Télévisions has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the fifteen matches of the six nations tournament and the fifteen matches of the women’s six nations tournament from 2023 to 2025 inclusive”, details the group.

Acquisition of the exclusive rights to the three matches of the men’s XV of France

France Télévisions has also acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the three matches of the men’s XV de France of the 2022 Autumn Tour, which will pit the recent Grand Slam winner against Australia, South Africa and Japan.

The exceptional career of the men’s XV of France, author of the tenth Grand Slam in its history, generated strong audiences this season. The five days of the 2022 tournament (February 5-March 19) broadcast on France 2 broke an audience record with a total of 34.2 million viewers following the competition, according to the audiovisual group.
