Author E.L. James has announced it herself: the release date of the latest novel in the "50 Shades of Gray" saga is official. And it will indeed be the last story on Christian and Anastasia.

50 shades of Gray was a real phenomenon first with the literary saga, then with the adaptations to the cinema. Christian and Anastasia thrilled many spectators and to cheer them up a bit, a new book appeared in 2017. We discovered this erotic fresco from Christian's point of view. If after all these years, there was no doubt about how Anastasia felt, Christian was still a very mysterious man. The complexity of their relationship, its relationship to sexuality, its traumas … These new books, told through the rich and attractive businessman, have enlightened fans of the saga on many things.

James, explains: “For me, as for Anastasia Steele, Christian is a stimulating, infuriating and endlessly fascinating character. Living in his head is exhausting, but I was able to explore aspects of his life in Freed that we only glimpsed in the original trilogy, and to follow its emotional growth in response to Ana's love and compassion. "
