SNCF Gares et Connexions is joining forces with Loxamed to create telemedicine spaces in its stations. They will consist of “ comfortable, welcoming places to take good care of patients during teleconsultations » according to the president of Loxamed Arnaud Molinié. To ensure the quality of the service, a nurse will be present on site, while the patient can be examined remotely by a doctor based in France.
300 stations equipped in the years to come
Making an appointment for this consultation can be done either online or directly at the station. And the program is ambitious, since the SNCF wants to create 300 of these spaces by 2028.
These “cabines” will be “ located in priority intervention zones (ZIP) and concerted development zones (ZAC), characterized by an insufficient supply of care and difficulty in accessing care. » Or 1735 potential locations.
