The Sony Xperia 10 IV smartphone test has integrated our comparison

Our smartphone comparison, rich in 228 references, hosts the test of the Sony Xperia 10 IV, available from €389.99. Unfortunately, it could not beat the unbeatable Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, better rated and from € 339.41.

While the Xperia 1 IV is Sony’s flagship, the Xperia 10 IV is its mid-range counterpart. The much more affordable smartphone features a 6-inch Amoled panel, a Snapdragon 695G chip flanked by 6 GB of RAM, expandable storage, a triple photo module and a 5000 mAh battery.

Sony renews its Xperia 10 every year, whose design retains its main lines. The smartphone stamped IV is slightly smaller than its elder, the Xperia 10 III, and much more than other smartphones on the market. This is its main asset, especially since it does not sacrifice autonomy on the altar of compactness. The smartphone, with full connectivity, has a nice Oled screen and provides decent performance. We nevertheless regret a too slow load and a photo component which, if it is versatile, disappoints overall.

Alternatively

The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G is overall a great success. It successfully takes what works for the Galaxy S family and opts for a long-requested Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC in Europe. Samsung has a smartphone capable of competing with many references on the market.
