He was known for starring in the cult series The Sopranos. Paul Herman passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 76, the very day of his birthday. Whoever played the role of Beansie was a famous actor. If for the moment the causes of his death are still unknown, Hollywood mourns his disappearance. Indeed, Michael Imperioli paid tribute to this successful actor: “Our friend and colleague Paul Herman passed away. Paulie was just an awesome guy. A first class storyteller and storyteller and one hell of an actor”he wrote on Instagram.

The actor recalled the many film projects in which Paul Herman starred : “Goodfellas, Once Upon a Time in America, The Irishman and, of course, The Sopranos are some of his best performances. Paulie has lived around the corner from me for the past few years and I’m glad we were able to hang out together before he leaves us. I will miss him. Sending lots of love to his family, friends and community of actors and filmmakers.”. In fact, the actor Soprano last starred in the film The Irishmanin 2019.

“A loving soul with a great sense of humor”

Actress Lorraine Bracco also wanted to honor the memory of Paul Herman, with whom she had played in The Freedmen. “The one and only. A loving soul with a great sense of humor, Paulie Herman. Rest in peace”, she wrote. British naturalized American actress, Frances Fisher wrote a moving message : “A man loved by all. An actor, a rider, (…) a trusted friend…” A loss that affected all fans of the series The Sopranos.
