According to calculations by "Forbes" magazine, the Argentine top scorer from FC Barcelona had an income of around 126 million dollars in the past twelve months. That is the equivalent of a good 106 million euros. The "Forbes" list is based on magazine research and estimates and is believed to be reliable. There is little change behind Messi either: Christiano Ronaldo pursues Barca's rivals. He is followed by the Brazilian Neymar, who is under contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Messi cannot buy a title for all the money: FC Barcelona received nothing in all major competitions this year.
