Hanning complains about German TV interest in handball

Despite strong ratings is at the World Cup Bob Hanning not happy with the number of viewers of the German handball players. “I’m not at all satisfied with just over six million viewers for the game against the Netherlands”, said the former DHB Vice President. An average of 6.104 million viewers had seen the 33:26 victory and the associated quarter-finals of the DHB selection on Saturday evening on ZDF. “I’m assuming that we’ll break the ten million mark in the quarter-finals at the latest. That must also be our aim. At the top we have to have ten million.”
