The new boss expects great things from Vettel
The new Formula 1 works team Aston Martin is hoping for an enormous learning effect for the racing team from Sebastian Vettel. "In Sebastian we have a recognized four-time world champion who has experience in helping teams win races and fight for the championship. That is why he is such an important obligation for us," said team principal Otmar Szafnauer. "He has a winning mentality and we will undoubtedly all learn a lot from him on this trip."
Aston Martin is the successor team to Racing Point. Vettel has left Ferrari after six years and will drive alongside Lance Stroll, the son of Canadian team co-owner Lawrence Stroll. "We also believe that Sebastian will get the best out of Lance and that Lance will push Sebastian hard in return," said Szafnauer.
