Verstappen and Leclerc already outside: start chaos in Bahrain again

Max Verstappen from Red Bull and Charles Leclerc from Ferrari had to finish the Formula 1 race in the Sakhir desert after a few meters on Sunday. Verstappen wanted to avoid a collision between Leclerc and Sergio Perez and ended up with his racing car in the lane. Leclerc had lost control after a very aggressive cornering maneuver and contact with Perez's Racing Point and could no longer prevent his car from making an impact. Both drivers were uninjured, but the safety car first had to be on the track in the penultimate race of the Corona emergency season.

The start was won by Mercedes newcomer George Russell, the Briton leads the field. Annoying for Leclerc and Verstappen, but nowhere near as dramatic as the bad fire accident involving Haas pilot Romain Grosjean on the same course a week ago.
