What is it about ?

Former military nurse and alert octogenarian, Colette shares a large Parisian apartment with her sister Maryvonne, a former teacher. Colette is as selfish as Maryvonne is generous, as grieving as her younger sister is tolerant, as ruthless as her sister shows empathy. Two fiery temperaments that everything has opposed since their childhood and which have nevertheless made them an inseparable duo!

A long stay in the countryside leads them to entrust their apartment to Maryvonne’s granddaughter, Julie, cellist with an artichoke heart. Believing herself to be alone for a moment, Julie takes over the apartment and meets near the barge where she plays every evening, Victor, a lost kid and François, her homeless father. She will then take them under her wing, to the chagrin of Maryvonne… The situation will start a war but a fierce war of humor which will expose each of the characters.

Tuesday December 28 from 9:05 p.m. on France 3

Adaptation of a play

Written by Sylvain Saada, to whom we owe Murders in the Three Valleys, Le Squat is inspired by a play of the same name by Jean-Marie Chevret dating from the early 2000s. Despite its sometimes slightly improbable scenario and Sewn with white threads, this 90-minute TV movie offers us an urban tale filled with good feelings, perfect for the end of the year.

For the occasion, Line Renaud embodies a cantankerous character, the opposite of the roles she usually embodies. “What a pleasure to play someone you’re not”She had thus confided to our colleagues of the voice of the North a few days ago.

At his side, you can find Laëtitia Milot, former star of Plus belle la vie, who has been doing a series of projects since leaving the daily series. She plays Julie, the granddaughter of Maryvonne, who is herself played by Annick Blancheteau.

Finally, Alexandre Varga, who we can currently see in Tomorrow belongs to us and who previously played in Cassandre, lends his features to François, a man who has lost everything and who will try, with the help of his son and Julie, to rebuild.
