We thought we knew everything about the design of the Pixel 9. The Pro model had already been revealed to the world 10 months before its release, revealing in the process a design quite different from the previous models. Then, at the end of January, it was the standard model’s turn to go to waste. At least, that’s what we thought. Indeed, it ultimately turns out that it was the Pixel 9 Pro XL, a “new” arrival in the range (in reality already present on the Pixel 5 but since abandoned), which also explains its larger size. modest.
Today, we discover the standard Pixel 9, once again courtesy of the leaker Onleaks. Unsurprisingly, we find a design similar to the two other models in the range, with this impressive photo module at the back. On the other hand, unlike the Pro version, this one is made up not of 3, but of 2 sensors. The dimensions are also similar to those of the Pixel 8, but still slightly larger: 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5 mm.

Google has also opted for very rounded corners, like previous iterations, as well as a selfie sensor nestled in a central punch. The screen, meanwhile, should measure 6.03 inches. For comparison, this is barely less than the screen of the Pixel 9 Pro which should measure 6.1 inches. But the real star of this new design is of course the reworked photo module, now in the form of a rounded floating bar on the rear side.
On the other hand, Onleaks has not yet focused on the technical sheet of the smartphone. We know that the latter should be equipped with the Tensor G4 chip, which has already made an appearance in a benchmark. Other rumors mention the Adaptive Touch feature which will adjust the sensitivity of the screen depending on environmental factors. Finally, it is rumored that the smartphone will feature Qi2 wireless charging technology, which should increase the charging power to 15W.
