The 24th edition of the NRJ Music Awards took place this Friday evening in Cannes. A ceremony which sometimes offered a few moments of flop as during the passage on stage of Yanis Marshall, dance teacher of the “Star Academy”.
Camille Combal presented the NRJ Music Awards ceremony to replace Nikos Aliagas, injured in a fall during a Star Academy bonus. Another character from the show who made his comeback this year stood out on the Cannes stage: Yanis Marshall. The dance teacher at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys was invited to present the prize for French-speaking female artist of the year to Angèle (the nominees were: Aya Nakamura, Amel Bent, Angèle, Camélia Jordana, Clara Luciani, Juliette Armanet and Izia).
Adorned with very colorful clothes, the 33-year-old launched into a monologue before presenting the trophy. Results ? A long speech that was more uncomfortable than anything else for viewers. “Hello Cannes.
