(AOF) – The government announced this Friday that it had decided to grant public and private health establishments “exceptional aid of 500 million euros” for the year 2023. “Ex-DG” establishments (previously under global allocation, namely public health establishments and non-profit private establishments) will for their part be returned 470 million euros of unused credits, which were integrated into the Ondam (expenditure objective) 2023.
This announcement comes two days after the FHP (Federation of Private Hospitalization) said it was “waiting for urgent support from the State”. “Without urgent funding from public authorities, the viability of establishments is seriously threatened to the detriment of access to care, the capacity and quality of patient care,” said the federation in a press release.
