Strike at ComTS – Commerzbank enters into talks with Verdi

On the fourth day of the week-long strike at the Commerzbank-Daughter ComTS the MDAX group has reached an agreement with the Verdi union. Commerzbank wants to start talks with Verdi in February 2023 about an in-house collective agreement at the ComTS service companies, the bank announced.
According to Coba, the union has pledged that there will be no more strikes until negotiations begin. The collective bargaining agreements for the private banking industry, which apply to Commerzbank employees, were not affected by the collective bargaining with ComTS.
