A novelty in the “Summer House of the Stars”: After an outbreak of violence, two couples have to leave.

The time has finally come: In the sixth episode of “Sommerhaus der Stars” (Tuesday, 8:15 p.m. on RTL – Also on RTL+) there is the scandal that all of Trash Germany has been whispering about for weeks. Two couples had to leave the house out of turn, and RTL couldn’t hold it back for long despite its strict information policy. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.

First of all, the first game is coming up. Once again it’s about the stars’ biggest enemies: height and general knowledge. The pairs have to shimmy over a precipice on hanging tires while answering questions. Especially for Valentina Doronina (23) and Can Kaplan (27) it’s about everything. They are also metaphorically on the edge. If they don’t protect themselves, they’re gone. They realize that. The other couples are therefore doubly motivated.

Although Valentina and Can verbally tear each other apart as usual, they come out strong again. You answer four questions correctly. But with Aleks Petrovic (32) and Vanessa Nwattu (23), the number one anti-Valentina couple is even better. Five correct answers are enough to win.

Where does all the hate come from?

Aleks and Vanessa were already on the verge of collapse as a partnership, but were able to pull themselves together successfully. Now, surprisingly, a new pair of problems has emerged: Pia Tillmann (37) and Zico Banach (32). A harmless campfire conversation about their different musical preferences turns into a drama. Pia buries herself in bed crying; an old injury has been torn open. An ex-boyfriend once broke up with her because of her bad taste in music.

In the ensuing argument, Pia calls Zico a “cocky wanker.” He counters with “drink less alcohol and get along.” But the “Köln 50667” couple soon got along again. They use their tongues in bed for making out and not for arguing.

With Valentina and Can there is also an obligatory, but mostly only provisional, reconciliation. At least she strokes his hair as he bursts into tears. Can’s not the only one wondering where all his wife’s hatred comes from. Because she can’t express her opinion, she says – even though she does so excessively and with conviction in the summer house.

Maurice approaches Valentina and Can

The nomination is getting closer and the result should actually be clear. But Maurice Dziwak (25) starts to think. Without the knowledge of his partner Ricarda Raatz (31), he bonds with Valentina and Can. For tactical reasons, he is calling for Tim Toupet and Carina Crone (33). He identifies the Ballermann pair as the easiest opponents for Can and Valentina in a potential exit challenge.

Maurice’s background conversations cause the expected chaos and turn against him. Aleks and Vanessa are the first to vote against Maurice in the broken glass court. So is the mood tipping in favor of Can and Valentina, who already believed they were down?

“Biggest Fish” and “Sucking Pump” voted out

No. All other couples vote against the trouble couple. Even Maurice withdraws his nomination plan against his “foster father” Tim. Gigi Birofio (24) enjoys giving his voice to the “biggest fish” Valentina and her “sucking pump” Can. The insult is probably intended to refer to Can’s alleged status as his wife’s lapdog. This accusation has accompanied Can since episode one.

So the number one hate couple is voted out. But there is still the exit challenge lifeline. Since Tim/Carina and Maurice/Ricarda both received a vote, Can and Valentina get to choose who they can fight against. They follow Maurice’s suggestion and choose the supposedly weaker couple Tim and Carina.

But the episode isn’t over yet. Now comes the scandal that makes all tactics obsolete. And this is how it happens: At the campfire it’s Valentina/Can again against the rest of the group. The trigger was the “bad aftertaste” (Justine Dippl) that left Valentina’s chat with Maurice. At some point Gigi gets up. Of all people, Gigi, who as a replacement in the last episode has not yet had a conflict with Valentina or Can.

Eklat creates a “summer house” novelty

Gigi and Can suddenly find themselves neck and neck for some unknown reason. Then Gigi pushes Can away. There is a small argument before Gigi raises her hand. He slaps Can, hitting Valentina too. The outcry is rightly loud.

It now becomes clear how dramatic this “border crossing” (as the roommates said) was. Security people storm into the garden. You have to let that melt in your mouth. For the first time in eight seasons of “Sommerhaus der Stars”, show employees can be seen. So far, production has ultimately tried to make itself invisible. No moderation, no nothing.

Gigi and his girlfriend Dana Feist (26) have to leave the house. Also a novelty in the history of the show. In the interview, Gigi regrets his hit and apologizes. The TV career of the actually harmless clown, who almost freaked out in the jungle camp, is probably over.

But that’s not enough. Valentina and Can also have to go. “In order to calm the tense atmosphere in the summer house,” the production takes her out of the firing line. As if to subsequently justify their decision, the director edits scenes from various interviews in which candidates accuse Valentina of psychological violence. A “bad taste” remains.
