Rafi looks too deeply into the glass and then threatens to move out. But he is not the only one packing his bags in the “summer house of the stars”.

“Wonderful day” says Umut Tekin, 27, at the start of the third episode of “The Summer House of the Stars” (Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. on RTL and a week before on RTL+). It seems forgotten that at the end of the last episode he announced to his roommates that there would be “hell” on earth. In general, the knife gate seems to have been forgiven and forgotten. We remember: Umut’s partner Emma Fernlund, 23, had accused Sam Dylan, 33, of threatening her with a knife that he happened to be holding in his hand during an argument. There is no longer any talk of that, instead there are relieved jokes about “Jack the Ripper” Sam.

The hate is now focused on vegans again. Tessa Bergmeier, 35, and her boyfriend Jakob, 39, were actually voted out, but are allowed to fight in an exit challenge against Sarah Kern, 55, and Tobias Pankow, 39. Tobias doesn’t want to compete in protest because Tessa called the amateur hunter a “murderer”. Tobias doesn’t actually want to provide a platform for this “character assassination”. But when Sarah convinces him that there would be no fee if he moved out voluntarily, he gives in. After all, he and Sarah did the whole thing “for money.”

Tessa is the tower

So an exit challenge after all. The pairs must build a tower out of drink crates to reach a flag. Tessa’s strategy of “being the tower” works. Sarah and Tobias, on the other hand, decompose themselves. Tessa and Jakob easily win the game. So Team Vegan remains. Sarah and Tobias are out, at least with their fee. But Tobias leaves the show as a loser after he has talked up his sleeves and described hunters as discriminated against groups with oblique comparisons.

In the house, only Umut and Emma are happy about this outcome. Because the vegans distract from them as the number one booing couple. And because Tessa and Jakob are the only allies.

The party is still going on, with plenty of champagne. It seems to quickly go to Rafi Rachek, 34,’s head. Sam Dylan’s partner forms a gun with his hands and aims at the vegans. Even Jakob and Tessa’s toughest opponents agree that he oversteps the mark.

Rafi collapses

Rafi quickly apologizes, but that’s when the drama really begins. When Sam warns him to drink less, Rafi freaks out. He feels patronized by his partner and labeled as an alcoholic. He collapses in tears in the bathroom, then packs his bags. Sam lets his friend do it first; he seems to be familiar with such capers.

The roommates stop Rafi from moving out. The next morning he apologizes in front of the entire team for his soul striptease (Stefan Kleiser) and stays.

Then we play. A “summer house” classic is coming up. The couples have to complete a course and answer questions on bicycles connected by a rope. Alessia Herren, 22, and husband Can, 29, are the fastest and secure a place in the next round.

Gloria Glumac, 32, and boyfriend Michael, 33, don’t like the game at all. They break off after insulting each other. Michael doesn’t just want to throw away the game, but also his participation in the show and the whole relationship. Like Rafi, he demonstratively packs his bags.

Gloria doesn’t care about the “summer house”, but she wants to save the relationship. After all, she “ran after him for a year.” Even now she runs after him and prevents his retreat.

The mood is tipping against embarrassment – but the mood barometer shows something different

Meanwhile, the mood in the house changes. It’s no longer the vegans, but Umut and Emma who are now the number one object of hate. Why is not so easy to see. Theresia Fischer, 32, and Stefan Kleiser, 57, in particular, shoot out of nowhere against team “Emut”. They usually have nothing to do with this “educated class”. With this classic failure, Theresia and Stefan – so far the most balanced and nicest couple in the house – unnecessarily lose the audience’s sympathy.

Meanwhile, an alliance between the divas Sam/Rafi and the strikingly average Raul Richter, 37, is scheming behind the scenes against Emma and Umut. But in the mood at the end of the episode you don’t notice much of it. The most negative votes, namely four, go to Tessa and Jakob. For the objects of hate, a “solid” result compared to the last few times, as Tessa thinks.

Emut, like Theresia/Stefan and Raul/Vanessa, only gets one vote. But that was just a tactic from chief schemer Raul and Co. “Tomorrow there will be a crash,” promises the “GZSZ” actor.
