The Super Mario Bros movie is again the victim of a big leak. After the plumber, it’s Princess Peach’s turn to be unveiled in advance. Here is what it will look like.
The Super Mario Bros movie was revealed to much fanfare during last night’s Nintendo Direct. Seven years after its initial announcement, the adaptation has unveiled its first trailer. The opportunity for fans to discover what Chris Pratt gives in the role of the plumber, but also to discover the design of the characters. If Luigi, Bowser or even Toad have been shown, other characters are still waiting … or not.

Peach’s design was revealed in advance. As with the leak that hinted at Mario, it was McDonald’s again who sold the wick. The princess of the Mushroom Kingdom has indeed been seen on a calendar which will be distributed at the giant of the fast food. No big surprise, it stays in line with what we saw in the first trailer for the movie Super Mario Bros.
Fans have not failed to react to this little leak and there is a consensus emerging. Many people find that her design looks a lot like a modern Disney princess. Think Elsa in Frozen or Rapunzel. This is obviously not to displease Internet users, however. We recall that she will be played by Anya Taylor-Joy, known for her role in The Game of the Lady. The Super Mario Bros film will be released in cinemas on March 29 in France.
