The Talos Principle 2 continues to stir brains with its Road to Elysium expansion

Released at the end of last year, the puzzle game existentialist The Talos Principle 2 has since been entitled to a physical edition Deluxe on PS5 in April. We might have thought that Croteam And Devolver Digital had therefore finished with him, but that was without counting on his return during the Devolver Direct 2024 with a paid extension called Road to Elysium. This DLC costing €14.99 will be divided into three chapters which will all see the light of day next week, on Friday June 14, each offering unique environments and new ways to put our brain to the test, as evidenced by its trailer:

Below you will find some details on each experiment, as well as visuals on the next page.

Road to Elysium follows the events of The Talos Principle 2 by offering you new perspectives on the notable moments of 1K’s epic, who will have to face new puzzles using already known systems, but also new mechanics as ingenious as they are demanding.

This expansion is made up of three chapters, each of which offers its own visual and atmosphere.

Explore the philosophy of love, death and resurrection as you follow the story of Hypatia and Sarabhai. Play as 1K and navigate Sarabhai’s mind in search of fragments of her personality. In this sumptuous environment inspired by ancient Egypt, this chapter asks you to solve, in an unconventional way, a series of complex puzzles with lasers.

Hang out with Yaqut and Miranda as they join Cornelius and Athena on a breathtaking Caribbean island. Face many new challenges using familiar tools, while your final objective is the Hexahedron, a large set of continuous puzzles located in a mysterious tower.

Relive one of the most intense moments of The Talos Principle 2 and find out what happened to Byron when he got stuck in the Megastructure. On a series of floating islands, this chapter takes you on a hallucinatory trip through an ethereal world, full of puzzles, each more difficult than the last. A chapter that will undoubtedly turn the heads of the most experienced players.

The physical edition Deluxe of The Talos Principle 2 is sold €35.35 on Amazon. The game on PC is for its part displayed at €28.99 at Gamesplanet.
