The taste of Paris – Bleu Bao dim sum



VSThere are six bao masters (all women) who make up to 500 dim sun every day at Bleu Bao, including the Luo Buo Gao, a classic of the genre, yet impossible to find elsewhere in Paris. A vegetarian version of the radish and pork cake, grilled to contrast the crispy exterior with the melting heart, and here garnished with shrimp and Shiitake harvested from the La Caverne urban farm. Another best-seller: the famous Siu Mai, a model of freshness for its dough, and balance with its pork-shrimp stuffing which combines sweetness and delicate texture.

The bourgeois atmosphere of a private house

And it is moreover in a nod to the language of love that she was inspired by the universe of the film In the Mood for Love to imagine on two levels, the cozy spaces of a bourgeois house in Hong Kong. Alternating custom furniture and a dim sum counter “open” to the dining room on the ground floor, favoring the intimacy of a library and a small dining room upstairs. Antique objects, a replica of Ming paper and this cinematic blue that runs on the walls… The trip is complete.
