The Tesla Cybertruck goes on tour across Europe

The Tesla Cybertruck is arriving in Europe… but not to be sold there. The gigantic electric pick-up begins a tour across the Old Continent. Named Cybertruck Odyssey, it will have more than a hundred stages between May and July and will allow the curious to approach the already cult Cybertruck, as much criticized as adored by some.

In France, the Cybertruck will be visible in different cities, but all the dates of this tour have not yet been announced:

  • at VivaTech, in Paris: May 22 to 25, 2024
  • at Station F, in Paris: from May 26 to 29, 2024
  • in Mulhouse: from May 30 to 31, 2024
  • in Saint-Priest, a suburb of Lyon: from June 2 to 3, 2024
  • in Pennes-Mirabeau, a suburb of Marseille: from June 7 to 9, 2024
  • in Bordeaux: from June 10 to 12, 2024
  • in Aytré, a suburb of La Rochelle: from June 13 to 14, 2024
  • in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, in the suburbs of Paris: from June 15 to 18, 2024

It remains to be seen what Tesla’s intention is behind this European tour. For the moment, the Cybertruck is intended only for the American market. If Tesla wanted to market it in Europe, where a pick-up almost 5.70 m long would not be comfortable, the brand would also be faced with numerous approval constraints. The stainless steel body of the Cybertruck could then play tricks on it.

The most likely hypothesis therefore remains that of a simple communication stunt. Currently, only a few Cybertruck units have been imported into Europe, either privately or directly by Tesla. Examples of the electric pick-up have just been seen in the Netherlands, perhaps to be exhibited during this tour (source: @yonahummels via.

The Ford F-150 Lightning, a more consensual rival to the Cybertruck, has started to be delivered in Europe. It is currently available in Norway and Switzerland in limited quantities.
