With the Redmi Pad, Xiaomi is once again offering a simple and effective tablet for a very affordable price. With a convincing screen and a rather well-optimized SoC, it also has impressive battery life. Cost reduction obliges, it is confined to LCD, does not shine in video games and is mediocre in photography. But Xiaomi has made the right choices to make it a very good tool for browsing the web and networks, but above all for viewing content. At less than 300 €, difficult to do much better.

Far from being a bad tablet, the Lenovo M10 Plus (3rd Gen) isn’t flawless either. It can easily be used as a family tablet, for young and old alike. Its screen is good, as is its autonomy which will delight more than one. But it shows its limits quite quickly, especially in terms of performance, which even if they are respectable, will find their limits in intensive use. As often with tablets, the photo section is to be reserved for videoconferences.
