In the United States, a father was the victim of a carjacking while his four children were in his vehicle. The brave dad finally boarded the car that the criminal had abandoned to chase him.
A story worthy of a Hollywood movie. In Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, a father had his vehicle stolen on November 30, while parked near a friend’s house and unloading the trunk of his car, reports Fox News. In an instant, a man appeared driving an SUV, got out of it, then got into the front of the station wagon and drove off. However, he hadn’t noticed thatin the back were always the four children of the unfortunate fatherall under the age of 5, remained in the back seat of the stolen vehicle.
According to local police information, the father of the abducted children would then have rushed into the vehicle abandoned by the criminal to chase him. A chase would then have started for a little less than a kilometer, before the father overtakes his own vehicle and rams it, forcing the thief to leave the passenger compartment and flee.
Children safe and sound
Fortunately, this incredible chase did not no injuries, says Fox News. The heroic dad was therefore able to bring his children home safe and sound, before contacting the police. For the time being, the police have not announced any arrests, but the investigation opened following the incident has already made it possible to establish that the SUV abandoned by the criminal and used by the father of the family had also been stolen, presumably by the same individual.
