A famous classic returns to the big screen: “The Three Musketeers – D’Artagnan” will be released in German cinemas on April 13th.

One of cinema’s most famous classic heroes returns to the big screen. As Constantin Film has announced, “The Three Musketeers – D’Artagnan” will be shown in German cinemas from April 13, 2023. In the renewed film adaptation of the world-famous novel by Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870) from 1844, Athos, Porthos and Aramis once again fight alongside D’Artagnan for justice and against evil.

The main roles include French actors Vincent Cassel (56) as Athos and Eva Green (42) as Milady. François Civil (32) takes on the role of D’Artagnan, directed by Martin Bourboulon (43). A sequel to the film has also been announced: “The Three Musketeers – Milady” will hit theaters on December 14, 2023.

The co-producers of Constantin Film have already released a first trailer for the upcoming strip. The film tells the story of D’Artagnan coming to Paris as a young man and allying himself with the king’s musketeers. Together they fight against the dark machinations of Cardinal Richelieu.
