The timetable for the succession to the head of Orange is accelerating

Ramon Fernandez (Deputy CEO of Orange), Christel Heydemann (President of Schneider Electric France) and Frank Boulben (chief revenue officer at the American Verizon). The issue is taking an increasingly political turn, as time is running out. Initially, the subject was to be decided before the end of last year, to avoid any interference with the presidential campaign.

The conviction on November 24 of Stéphane Richard, the current CEO of the group, in the context of the Tapie trial, has shaken up the organization of his succession. Under pressure from the Minister of the Economy, the government set a timetable. A new organization must be put in place, with the separation of the powers of executive director general from those of chairman of the board of directors.
