318,429 MaPrimeRnov’ files were financed during the first half of 2022 for 377,346 files filed, according to statistics revealed on July 11 by the National Housing Agency (Anah). The number of files filed is almost stable compared to the same period in 2021, but the number of files accepted has increased slightly, as have the amounts of premiums paid, which this time exceed one billion euros (1.2 billion) on first six months of the year.
Who uses MaPrimeRnov’?
The vast majority of files concern owner-occupiers (312,107 financial files), for their main residence, far ahead of landlords (6,322), in other words rental investors. This bonus varies according to the level of income, 45% of the files financed benefit from households categorized as very modest, and only 3% for households categorized as having a higher level of resources. The very low and low income households are the main beneficiaries of MaPrimeRnov’ aid (68% of files financed in the 1st half of 2022), detailed by Anah in its half-year report. Of these 318,429 cases in the 1st half of 2022, 81,642 relate to the installation of a pellet stove73409 that of a air/water heat pump and 34355 the equipment of a individual solar water heater. As a logical consequence of the scales of government assistance, this podium varies according to the level of resources.
The wealthiest of the beneficiaries do not use this financing to equip themselves with a pellet stove (they mainly finance insulation work via MaPrimeRnov’) because they are not entitled to do so: MaPrimeRnov’ Rose, intended for households with higher incomes, offers a more limited range of financing.
