In the shoes of Kate Ward, a young scientist member of an expedition sent to the Metahedron, a celestial body of unknown origin that entered Earth’s orbit, it will be a question of surviving on a hostile planet after the Metahedron had precipitated our expedition to the edge of the universe.
Left to her own devices, Kate will have to face fearsome creatures and the title seems a tad eyeing the side of From Software productions since it will be a question of movements limited by an endurance gauge, rolls, patterns of enemies to learn and combat of boss quite sturdy. The ingenuity of our heroine will also be put to good use via a system for manufacturing objects and gadgets.
Developed by Serbian developer Mad Head on behalf of the Prime Matter label, Scars Above does not yet have a release date but we now know that it will join the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series toy libraries in addition to the previously announced PC version.
