Would Delphine Jubillar have left for the jihad? As surprising as it may seem, it is indeed a lead that investigators have explored to find the 33-year-old nurse. In question, the declarations of her husband Cédric Jubillar the day after his disappearance in the Tarn. During his auditions, Cédric Jubillar, indicted for aggravated murder since June 18, 2021, would have mentioned this track. According to The Parisian, he would have shared this strange hypothesis which, despite everything, had to be taken into account by the investigators. However, this track was quickly abandoned and deemed fanciful, for lack of solid elements.
It remains to be seen why Cédric Jubillar mentioned this unexpected lead. Indeed, the investigators wondered a lot about the theories of the husband of Delphine Jubillar. The nurse who presumably had no connection to Islamic terrorism.

Cédric Jubillar still in prison
The inconsistent statements of Cédric Jubillar led to an indictment of the father of the family by the police. In June 2021, the Toulouse prosecutor announced his arrest. But Cédric Jubillar continues to deny his involvement in the disappearance of his wife. Since then, his lawyers have applied for the release of their client, considering a lack of evidence against him. The mother of Cédric Jubillar, meanwhile, has already expressed her doubts about the innocence of her son. “If she wanted to teach her a lesson by voluntarily disappearing, she played well. But if it isn’t, I just hope my son didn’t do anything to her.”, she confided during a hearing at the gendarmerie.

If Delphine Jubillar remains, for the moment untraceable, the relatives of the 33-year-old young woman continue to organize beatings in the hope of finding her. In the meantime, Cédric Jubillar will remain in pre-trial detention until he is heard by the investigating judge in October 2021.
