Killer Sally : a muscular love story that turns into drama

In the docu-series Killer Sallyit will be possible to discover real images of the couple of bodybuilders, Sally and Ray, but also members of their family who will come to testify especially for the project. Between them, it all started in the 1980s, when Ray served in the Marine Corps in the United States. Soon they shared their passion for fitness and started training together. Sally says she immediately fell in love with him. “He looked like the statue of David. He was wonderful”, can be heard in the Netflix trailer. Already a mother of three children, Sally was a few years older than Ray. They married in 1987, but things quickly got out of hand between them. Ray was chasing the girls and cheating on Sally, who got revenge by going to bang her rivals. Valentine’s Day in 1995 marked the end of the couple.

Sally grabbed a 12 gauge shotgun and fired at Ray. a first time in the abdomen, then a second time by hitting its target at the level of the jaw. Panicked, Sally called 911, admitting to having killed her husband because he had beaten her. The two lovers were loaded with anabolic steroids (fluoxymesterone, nandrolone, oxymetholone, clenbuterol, drostanolone), possible catalysts between two already explosive personalities. In the docu-series, Sally’s children confirm Ray’s alleged abuse of their mother, but also of them. The inquest argued the act was premeditated and Sally was convicted of second degree murder in 1996. She was sentenced to nineteen years in prison. She is still serving her sentence at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, California.
