After the Galaxy S22, it’s up to the Galaxy S20 and S21 to be served. Samsung is deploying the Android 13 update with One UI 5 in Europe in advance.
Android 13, like every version of Android, was first released on Google phones, the Pixels, before being adapted by each manufacturer. After Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus, Android 13 with One UI 5 has arrived since October 24, 2022 on the Galaxy S22.
Samsung today launched a new batch of Android 13 updates. Now older Korean smartphones, such as the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21, will enjoy the latest version of Google’s operating system and the new interface One UI 5.
Android 13, One UI 5 and the latest security update
Deployed in Germany initially, this update arrives in France in stride. The upgrade includes the security update for Android for November 2022. Samsung also brings various changes with One UI 5 and Google with Android 13. As a reminder, One UI 5 mainly focuses on improving customization. The lock screen, for example, is inspired by iOS 16 of the iPhones.
To install One UI 5, nothing could be simpler. All you have to do is go to the phone settings and go down to Software update. There, if you have a compatible phone, the update will be offered to you. Do not hesitate to try later if nothing is offered.
Samsung officially presents the first public beta of One UI 5, namely its new Android 13 interface. On the program, a relatively minor update with a few additions, but no revolution.
