Uber is evolving its Eats Pass into an Uber One subscription, which combines services for both Uber (VTC) and Uber Eatswith no price increase.
Uber is starting to notify its customers by email: its new Uber One subscription is coming to the French market very soon. Here’s what you need to know about it.
A price that does not increase
Uber One replaces the Uber Eats Pass offer, which allows you to benefit from advantages including free delivery for certain restaurants on Uber Eats. Uber Eats Pass subscribers will automatically be switched to the new subscription, Uber One, which costs the same price: 5.99 euros per month or 59.99 euros per year.
The migration has already started, and you should switch to Uber One without intervention from your next billing period. With Uber One, you will benefit from the same functionalities as with the Uber Eats Pass, but with additional options for Uber, the ride-hailing service.
Anglophone platforms use the term “ One to signify that everything is available in one place. For example, Apple One brings together all of the group’s subscriptions, and the Xbox One was so named to mean that you can play games, watch movies and series, listen to music from a single device.
Uber One, the Pass Eats better
With Uber One, subscribers enjoy the following benefits:
- Unlimited free delivery costs in eligible restaurants;
- up to 50% reduction on service fees, also capped at 3.99 euros;
- 5 euros of credit, usable on Uber Eats and Uber, when the order is not delivered at the scheduled time (the latest estimated arrival time when placing the order);
- 10% savings on Uber Comfort, Black and Van rides, 5% savings on UberX, UberX Saver and Uber Green rides (except trips scheduled more than 30 minutes in advance, shared trips and taxis).
Like the Uber Eats Pass, Uber One is a no-commitment subscription that can be canceled at no cost. Uber adds that the first month of subscription will be free for customers and recalls that Uber Eats is available in more than 330 French cities.
