Ultenic FS1

  • Effective self-cleaning base
  • Simplified maintenance
  • Good suction performance on Auto and Boost mode
  • Automatic detection on rugs and carpets
  • Good autonomy
  • Sound level too high
  • Heavy device in hand
  • Recharging the battery a little long
  • Unnecessary minimal suction

A practical self-cleaning base combined with good performance

The self-cleaning base of the Ultenic FS1 is a major innovation that makes using the vacuum cleaner much more practical and hygienic. When the vacuum cleaner is stored on its base, the collector is automatically sucked into the 3 liter bag located inside the base. This bag is tightly closed, which prevents dust from escaping. After use, the collector is cleaned and disinfected using ultraviolet light.

This self-cleaning base saves time and is hygienic: it is no longer necessary to get your hands dirty to empty the collector. It is also relatively quiet.

And in terms of performance? They are satisfactory in Auto and Boost mode, on all types of soil. Thanks to its motorized brush, the Ultenic FS1 provides good cleaning performance on rugs and carpets.

And compared to competition of the same price, how does the Ultenic FS1 perform?

The match is mainly between the Ultenic FS1 and the Dreame H11 Core. The Proscenic P12 certainly provides good suction performance, but it is penalized by its high operating noise and difficult maintenance. Compared to it, the Dreame model is significantly quieter. Cleaning the device is relatively easy and it is only in terms of autonomy that it falls a little short compared to the Proscenic vacuum cleaner.

The suction performance of the Ultenic remains a notch below the other two models, but this is mainly due to its “minimal” mode, which theoretically allows the battery to be preserved, but which is rendered useless by the suction efficiency at half-mast. This is especially true since, of the three devices we are comparing, it is the one with the best autonomy.

So what to choose between Ultenic and Dreame? In our opinion, it mainly depends on the size of the surface to be vacuumed. Prefer the Ultenic FS1 for large spaces and reserve the Dreame H11 Core for smaller areas. The Dreame model is also preferred if you want a 2-in-1 device – vacuum cleaner and floor scrubber.

Ultenic, the specialist in vacuum cleaners of all kinds

Ultenic is a recent brand, founded in 2021, and that does not prevent it from already being very prolific in the vacuum cleaner sector. The same year of its creation, the manufacturer unveiled several models of stick and robot vacuum cleaners, like the T10, the U10 then the U11 and the D5.

The following two years, the ranges expanded and notably included cordless vacuum cleaners, namely the AC1 and its variant the AC1 Elite.

Nowadays, Ultenic’s collections mainly include robot vacuum cleaners (7 models) and cordless stick vacuum cleaners (4 references).
