The ultra-gourmet (and anti-waste) recipe for the Easter chocolate tart from chef Abdel Alaoui and Malo, 5 years old: Femme Actuelle Le MAG


If we love chocolate at Easter, we sometimes get a lot (a lot) too much! Between colored eggs / praline / marbled, fried foods of all kinds and chicken or rabbit moldings, it’s difficult to consume them all without risking a liver crisis … So this year, no question of throwing away: we have imagined for you a delicious anti-waste recipe to easily recycle Easter eggs.

For the occasion, we called in a shocking duo who did not hesitate to roll up their sleeves to take up this chocolate challenge. It is Abdel Alaoui, chef and restaurateur, accompanied by his young clerk of the day Malo, 5 years old, who offers you an ultra-gourmet version of the Easter chocolate cream tartlet. Chef Abdel Alaoui and Malo’s Easter chocolate tart recipe

Ingredients:

For the pie crust:

  • 100g of flour
  • 50g butter
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • salt

For the chocolate cream:

  • 120 g of Easter chocolates
  • 10 cl of fresh cream
  • 5 cl of liquid cream
  • 2 whole eggs

For decoration:

  • Colored sugar vermicelli
  • Small Easter Eggs
  • Icing sugar

Preparation steps:

1. Pour the flour, diced butter, sugar and egg into a bowl.

2. Mix the preparation by hand and form a ball of dough.

3. Reserve in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

4. Melt the Easter chocolates in a double boiler. Add the liquid cream and the crème fraîche and mix to obtain a homogeneous preparation.

5. Add the eggs to the cooled chocolate mixture.

6. Take out your dough and spread it out on a floured work surface. Line 4 circles for tartlets.

7. Fill the tart shells with the chocolate mixture, decorate with the colored sprinkles and bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 ° C.

8. Once cooked, take out the tarts and let them cool on a wire rack.

9. Before serving, decorate the tarts with mini Easter eggs and treats and sprinkle with icing sugar.
