The Unknowns are reforming: the comic trio will soon be back on TF1 with a new fiction!

Eight years after the theatrical release of the film “Les Trois frères, le retour”, Didier Bourdon, Bernard Campan and Pascal Légitimus will soon meet again on TF1 for an exceptional prime-time entitled “Les Inconnus se reforment”.

Expected since 2014 and the cinema release of the Three Brothers sequel, the return to the screen of Les Inconnus will be on TF1 in the coming months in the form of a prime-time show which should not fail to create event.

Didier Bourdon, Bernard Campan and Pascal Légitimus will indeed meet during the 2022-2023 season on TF1 for an exceptional bonus entitled Les Inconnus se reforment, as the channel announced a few days ago during its back-to-school conference .

If the form that this reunion will take – TV movie or entertainment program – is not yet very clear, The Unknowns are reforming will in any case see many personalities replay cult sketches of the comic trio, in the manner of what had been proposed Muriel Robin with I Love You Hairstyle. Or more recently Michèle Laroque and Pierre Palmade with They love each other… finally almost!, broadcast on April 18 on the front page.

But fans will also have the pleasure of seeing Didier Bourdon, Bernard Campan and Pascal Légitimus respond to each other for the first time in eight years through an “unpublished mini-fiction” which should thus be incorporated into this prime-time.

The great return of the Unknowns therefore seems more imminent than ever. And the three comedians and actors have no shortage of projects since Didier Bourdon recently revealed to BFMTV that he will soon find his comrades in the cinema under the direction of Riad Sattouf for a comedy which will start filming in the spring of 2023.

“It’s going to be a bit of a crazy thing. We’ll be playing several characters. It’s quite a nice idea. Riad likes that we can play completely different characters – even if we don’t recognize ourselves, sometimes, during the film”he revealed about this necessarily eagerly awaited feature film which will therefore be Riad Sattouf’s third film after Les Beaux gosses and Jacky in the kingdom of girls.

Finally, Didier Bourdon also announced that a third part of Les Trois frères was possible and that an idea was currently being considered, although no concrete project has yet been launched.

“There is an idea, a third part of Three Brothers. It would be the last part, it would be The Three Grandfathers. We would cross out “brothers” and put “grandfathers. The film might be directed by Xavier Durringer [réalisateur de L’Homme parfait, actuellement en salles, ndrl]. (…) It would be a more adventurous part, we would leave France. I think Bernard Campan and Pascal Légitimus are open to that”.
