The Unknowns at war? Surprise return of the trio for a mini-fiction on TF1

The Unknowns are back! TF1 announced this Thursday, June 23, that the trio was reforming for a mini-fiction broadcast in a few months on the first channel.

They made the heyday of French humor. In the 80s, a trio appeared: the unknown. Sketches, films, Didier Bourdon, Pascal Légitimus and Bernard Campan have nevertheless separated. But now the comedians could well form their trio again for a show in prime time on TF1, as announced by the first channel this Thursday, June 23. Indeed, the actors will meet for a mini-fiction titled The Unknowns are reforming, which should be released in a few months. Good news for fans of the trio who were only waiting for one thing: for their group to reform.

This famous return, Didier Bourdon had already mentioned it during his visit to the show As an aside on Canal+: “I will try to convince Bernard [Campan] to go back on stage anyway, one last time. But it’s not won because he’s afraid. He is often right to be afraid. Pascal [Légitimus]he is more reckless on that. Indeed, Bernard Campan had confided his concern about a return of the trio : “It scares me today, [faire] return the Unknowns, on stage, after 30 years of absence, with what we are, our ages, our physique. I would have the impression that we are a caricature of what we have been”he explained on RTL last January.

Didier Bourdon: “It would be the last part, it would be The Three Grandfathers”

But the three comedians will indeed return. In addition to this famous bonus on TF1, the unknown will return to the cinema. Indeed, Didier Bourdon had revealed on BFMTV that a feature film directed by Riad Sattouf would be unveiled: “We’ll play several characters. It’s a pretty good idea. Riad likes that we can play completely different characters – even if we don’t get recognized, sometimes, during the film.” As for a third part of the film The three brothers, the actor had also mentioned another project: “It would be the last part, it would be The Three Grandfathers. We would cross out ‘brothers’ and put ‘grandfathers’. The third part would be a more adventurous, funny part, but we would go out of France”.
