Fifteen days before the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, a friend of the couple had made an appointment with Cédric to discuss. Their exchange takes a new turn in the light of events.
Delphine and Cédric Jubillar were in the middle of a divorce in December 2020. Tensions within the couple are numerous: money problems, lack of common aspirations … On the surface, everyone acts as if everything is going well. Yet Delphine Jubillar already has a lover. This man, who lives a few kilometers away, in Montauban, talks a lot with Delphine. Cédric Jubillar suspects it and tries to unmask it. Only a handful of Delphine’s relatives are aware of her relationship, and know the profile of her lover and confidant.
Fifteen days before the disappearance of his wife, Cédric Jubillar has an appointment for a discussion with a friend of his wife, on a square in the town of Cagnac-les-Mines, out of sight. The young woman is also a friend of the couple, caught in a form of conflict of loyalty. During this meeting, Cédric is very insistent in finding out who his wife’s lover is.

“Leave her alone”: the request of Delphine’s friend to Cédric Jubillar
The couple’s friend wants to try to calm things down. She explains to someone close to her that she cannot stand idly by and does not wish to see “to suffer nobody”. It is in this context that she tries to explain to Cédric that it is necessary “that he leaves Delphine alone”. The husband has been watching his wife for a few months, tracing her actions through her bank accounts. He had thus discovered purchases of lingerie and hotel nights. For her part, the day of her disappearance, Delphine had been to the bank to change the access codes to her accounts, so that her husband could no longer see his information. Cédric Jubillar, still in pre-trial detention, disputes any murder charge and calls for his release.
