Vileda wants to breathe new life into its Steam Plus steam cleaner by offering it not only a new design, but also improved ergonomics.

The Vileda Steam Plus steam cleaner was probably to collect dust in the rich catalog of the German manufacturer, which decided to give it a second wind.
Indeed, the Steam Plus, which has a broom format, is getting a makeover and is adorned with a new black plastic dress combining matte and shiny parts, thus offering “more polished aesthetics” than the first version, according to the manufacturer.
In addition, this new version is supposed to benefit from better ergonomics and offer increased maneuverability to the user. For this, Vileda has integrated a removable handle that can be stored on the back of the device to facilitate its storage. Additionally, the Steam Plus now comes with a steam flow selector placed on the body of the cleaner. Three levels are offered depending on the condition of the floor to be washed: Max (recommended for tiles), Medium for carpets and Min for more fragile floors such as parquet, according to the manufacturer.

In order for the user to keep an eye on the available water level, the tank – with a capacity of 0.4 l – is visible through a transparent window.
The Vileda Steam Plus retains a triangular head. Very practical, it allows you to clean in every corner of the house. In order to wash and disinfect the floor, this steam cleaner is equipped with a microfiber mop which can be machine washed at 60°C.
According to the manufacturer, it will take 15 seconds to preheat, and the device can then clean for 28 minutes thanks to its 7 m cord. We would still have preferred an 8 m cable like on the Shark S6003EU, which benefits from a wider field of action.
