the Navigator Vivaldi has just upgraded to version 5.2 on desktop and android. It is mainly about an improvement of the reading list system, in particular synchronized between the different platforms.

But that’s not all.

Vivaldi seriously boosts playlists

In a previous update, Vivaldi integrated a desktop playlist system. As its name suggests, it allows you to save web pages in order to read them later. In its latest version, the browser also offers this playlist on Android, in synchronization with the one on desktop. The feature can now be used from the side panel, with sorting options.

So if you’re signed in to a Vivaldi account, you’ll not only be able to find your saved sites across platforms, but also pick up where you left off.

Translation and privacy

On Android, Vivaldi also integrates the translation tool powered by Lingvanex, which has been available for desktop for several months. Enough to translate passages or entire pages in seconds without sacrificing privacy.

Vivaldi

  • The advantages of Chrome/Google without the disadvantages
  • Lots of features
  • Advanced customization for power users

By offering a large number of native features and customization tools aimed primarily at power users and allergic to Google, Vivaldi is an extremely rich and complete browser that may at first seem heavy and complex to approach and adjust. But thanks to a solid optimization work and various levels of settings, the software is now for everyone and allows you to free yourself from Google’s privacy policy while enjoying the benefits of Chrome. The Android version of Vivaldi is also an excellent complement to the desktop version, which today recalls the best hours of Opera.
