Dramatic twist in “The Voice”. The day after the broadcast of the semi-final, Adnaé, candidate from the team of Bigflo and Oli qualified for the final, announced on social networks that she was abandoning the competition. The singer from Mozambique prefers to focus on a brand new adventure…

This is unprecedented in the history of The Voice. Adnaé, candidate for the team of Bigflo and Oli, finalist of the thirteenth season, announced that she was leaving the competition. The singer, a naval engineer working on an oil platform off the coast of Mozambique, will not participate in the grand final of The Voice next Saturday May 25 alongside the four other finalists Shanys, Gabriel Lobao, Alphonse and Baptiste Sartoria.

The young woman prefers to concentrate on a new adventure, just as magical. “I am withdrawing from the adventure to experience a completely different one which promises to be magnificent: the arrival of my little one,” she announced on Instagram in the caption of a photo where she points to her baby bump.

“My little one has grown well”

“We proudly took on the adventure together and I am grateful for it,” continues the young thirty-year-old, who qualified in the semi-final of The Voice facing Iris. “The semi-final was recorded in advance, since then, my little one has grown well,” she explains. “The arrival of the baby and the schedule for the final being tight, traveling between Mozambique and France is not possible for me.”

Adnaé’s abandonment disrupts the course of the competition. The singer will not represent Bigflo and Oli’s team next week in the grand final. She will be replaced by Iris, her competitor during the semi-final.
