"The Voice": Are blind auditions rigged? Florent Pagny and Marc Lavoine explain themselves: Current Woman The MAG

The accusations made a lot of noise: Satine, columnist of Do not touch My TV who participated in The Voice Kids had assured that the show was rigged. On the set of the talk show, Monday March 8, 2021, she affirmed that "the jurors are completely warned when to turn around". She went on to recount her own experience:"A few months before my stint on the show, (the production) called me and asked me which juror I would rather have. I replied Patrick Fiori. And who turns around at the last moment? Patrick Fiori!", she says. According to her: no doubt, the coaches follow the recommendations of the production: "They are fully briefed. That's why Florent Pagny is offended, I think he was warned by the production that he should not turn around", adds the columnist, referring to the bloodshot from the coach after the passage of Marina, that no one has looked back on. And the young protégé of Cyril Hanouna assured that this was not the only anecdote proving the supposed rigging: according to her, there are a lot of them … but she does not give more details.

Florent Pagny assures us that these are "nonsense"

So, to cheat or not to cheat? To unravel the mystery, journalists from TV-Leisure contacted Florent Pagny, who responded to these accusations: "I don't know who's going to tell such a nonsense, but it's bound to be someone who doesn't know anything about the show", he blurted out."The production has always had the same positioning. They never tell us about talents specifically. In other countries, they talked about giving headsets to coaches, putting them on teleprompers, and I always said to the production without even being offered to us: 'this, at home, never in my life ! '"He even said. According to him, honesty is paramount in this kind of show:"If you want it to work, and for it to be powerful, you always have to be honest and sincere. So you can imagine that it cannot be driven by a production …"He even goes so far as to assure his reaction if he had been asked this: "They wouldn't have had time to finish their sentence when I was already gone! Everyone knows that for me the most important thing is the talents, they have to be up to par."

On the side of Marc Lavoine, same story: "It happened to me to leave sets because things were happening there that did not suit me. So no, we would not have accepted, whether it was Florent, Vianney, Amel, Obispo or me, in short all these coaches who went through The Voice, a rule that prohibits us the slightest artistic freedom in relation to our choices of heart ."Nevertheless, he has already felt a certain pressure … but not directly from the production:"After that there could have been influences by social networks at the time of the direct. Cause sometimes they show off someone so much we say to ourselves 'shit, if I don't like his performance, what do I do?' We wonder even more if we are right or not. But that's all, it's normal."In the end, one thing to remember:"We are not paged, we have no headset, we are not told 'go do that', no! And then let us remember that we are chosen at the time of the blind auditions, not the other way around… All that is absurd!"
