An amazing story. The blind auditions of the thirteenth season ofThe Voice continue on TF1. Last week, the jury was moved by the performance and journey of Gaëlle Okali. As a reminder, this one presented herself in front of the coaches, canes in hand, to deliver a captivating performance. “I had a very serious illness. Today I walk with a cane, I have after-effects and my left leg was amputated”, she revealed, facing the camera.
This Saturday March 2, 2024, Auna, 23 years old, manager in a restaurant from the Côte d’Azur and originally from Toulouse, also decided to try her luck on the big screen after having been affected by illness. The bubbly blonde saw the five coaches of the program swivel their scarlet chairs while discovering her magnificent cover of Louane’s song “Donne-moi ton coeur”.

“It’s the only beautiful thing that came out of Covid”
“It is very beautiful !”, “She has something!”… The jury was full of praise for Auna. Intrigued by this exceptional voiceZazie therefore wanted to learn more by asking the young woman: “Where does this voice come from, have you always had it?”And the person concerned responded in the negative: “No, I had Covid a year ago and it completely changed my voice.”
In front of the disconcertion of the coachesAuna decided to tell more about her story: “I actually got sick and never wanted to go to the doctor, I ended up with an infection in my vocal cords and it gave me a much deeper tone.” Information that did not fail to surprise Mika. “It’s the only beautiful thing that came out of Covid”, assured the interpreter of “Relax”.

Fever, headache, cough, loss of taste and smell… In recent years, experts have highlighted several symptoms that may be linked to contracting Covid-19. Also among them are consequences on the larynx and voice, like what Auna experienced.
On the stage ofThe VoiceVianney was also seduced by this stamp with special history. “This tone of voice is haute couture, it’s silk, it’s velvet,” he assured the emotional candidate. And his colleague Mika follows suit: “I don’t think you know what you have. You intuitively have a way of singing that is very strong, very seductive, but without forcing, that’s what’s crazy. A kind of sincere nonchalance.” A serenade which was not enough since Auna decided to continue the adventure alongside Zazie.
